Today IPART – Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal has released its final report, and new regulatory framework for the setting of water prices in New South Wales. To be known as the ‘3Cs’ (Customers, Costs, Credibility), the new framework is customer centric and seeks to put in place reputational, procedural and financial incentives to drive better customer value in the long term.
Utilities Regulation Advisory and Tim White are really proud to have advised the hard-working team at IPART, and want to congratulate the team and the Tribunal for what will be a great outcome for NSW’s water customers.
If anyone is interested in hearing more about the proposed changes, please reach out.
